We wont leave you on a piece of equipment, unattended, for any amount of time. Our Staff is dedicated to furthering their skills and keeping informed about the latest developments and research. They attend continuing education and they share what they know with each other. The initial evaluation and frequent reassessment throughout the course of therapy guide treatment. The type of treatment received is specific to the nature of ones condition. Integrated Health emphasizes a manual therapy based approach. Generally speaking, this involves a skillful hands-on application of specifically controlled forces to the body in order to decrease pain, improve myofascial tension and mobility, improve joint position and mobility, or enhance motor performance. The patient remains an active participant by providing movement, force or feedback. Treatment may also involve gait training, body mechanics instruction, functional movement re-education, balance and stability facilitation, and postural training.
