InsyncRe was established on December 31, 2006, with a handful of the company's most important clients becoming shareholders. To further its development, InsyncRe has acquired both the portfolio and personnel of CG&R Insurances Ltd, headed by Brian Roe. CG&R Insurances, began operating in the region in 1986 and has always concentrated on bringing th... e most comprehensive and efficient services to its clients. The reinsurance market has changed tremendously since 1986 and CG&R continuously adapted and provided its clients with a full range of services in the designing, structuring and implementation of risk transfer solutions. Additionally InsyncRe has recruited an independent chairman, Michael Jones, who has recently retired from the Cooper Gay Group, where he served as Chairman for fourteen years. During his career at Cooper Gay, Michael gained a lifetime of experience in the Lloyds and London markets and played a large part in developing Cooper Gay's presence around the world but particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean.
