As a former practicing lawyer, a hi-tech business development manager and marketing director, and a first-time parent later in life, I am intimately familiar with these challenges. When I began practicing as a therapist, I knew I wanted to apply my life experience to help inspire busy professionals and their families work through the challenges, transitions, and struggles of living and thriving in the Bay Area." Inspired Mind Counseling (hereinafter referred to as IMC) was founded by Madeleine Burkhart, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT California License #94533). IMC provides mental health counseling to Adults, Couples, Adolescents, and Families in Spanish, French, and English. Ms. Burkhart has practiced for over 15 years both in private practice and in community mental health clinics. Currently in private practice, her past counseling experience includes completing her internship for Multnomah County Department of Community Justice and subsequently providing individual, family, and group counseling for Cascadia, Lifeworks Northwest, and Cedar Hills Hospital. Her broad experience has fostered a unique ability to connect with clients of diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of life challenges and transitions. She is fluent in multiple languages including English, Spanish, and French and has traveled extensively, having lived in cities as divergent as Kyoto, Japan, Mexico City, Mexico, and Paris, France.
