Innoventor offers several training opportunities for current employees and college students. To prepare for the future, newly graduated employees benefit greatly in our team-centered organization where highly skilled and experienced engineers mentor the next generation of inventors and innovators. Students too, are welcomed for internships and prog... rams aimed at preparing them for a future with high performance needs. TOASTMASTERS: Toastmasters International, founded in 1924, is regarded as the leading organization dedicated to communication and leadership skill development. Toastmasters is a place where you develop and grow - both personally and professionally. By learning to effectively formulate, organize and express your ideas to others, you can achieve all kinds of success. You will be more capable and confident when giving presentations. The Earth City Toastmaster Club meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at Innoventor. SUMMER INTERNSHIPS: When our workload dictates, Innoventor likes to utilize engineering students to help us with production or simple design/drafting tasks. This allows engineering students the opportunity to bring their energy, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas into the reality of working for an actual engineering firm. Their contributions are recognized and often lead to full time engineering positions with Innoventor after graduation. JOB SHADOWING: Students from high school to college levels may participate in this program. Students "shadow" a variety of engineers to experience first hand the different phases of an engineering project life cycle. Students have the opportunity to see engineers ?in action?, and sometimes are able to participate in a project. This program has provided many students the opportunity to identify how different engineering disciplines are applied to various projects.
