Seeing a need to assist Providers with managed care contracting review and analysis as well as revenue opportunities, John Collier Founded Innovative Managed Care Solutions, LLC ("IMCS") in the fall of 2007. IMCS specializes in managed care contracting, review, analysis, negotiation and related activities. These incude areas such as the development of a managed care and revenue strategy; implementation of revenue tools; review and negotiation of managed care agreements; development and implementation of new affiliations such as a clinically integrated network. As founder, John himself has been assisting hospitals and physician groups with the development of managed care and revenue strategy and reviewing and negotiating managed care agreements for over 25 years. John is a former audit manger with Coopers and Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers or PWC). IMCS has grown over the years and serves clients throughout the country adding staff as needed. IMCS represents providers exclusively. WE understand the needs of the provider community from both and overall "big picture" view down to many of the smaller, but important, operational details. This allows us to uniquely see a managed care contract froma legal like (we are not attorneys) prospective as well as how it will be implemented adn how it will affect the various departments of your organization. We are known for our outstanding relationships with our provider clients as well as the payer community with whom we work. Given our financial background, our analysis work is second to none using these tools to find and capitalize on opportunities and getting the most our of what we identify. Serving both hospitals and physician providers, we understand not only the managed care contracting but the billing, collections, and the revenue cycle overall. IMCS works with hospitals from small community based facilities with less than 100 beds to large academic medical centers and children's hospitals.
