Innovation Software Group was founded in 1998 by owner Gary Cuozzo. After discovering the open-source model of software development, Gary was immediately intrigued and convinced that open-source would grow in popularity and change the way software is developed. Over 10 years later, there is no question that open-source has revolutionized the world... of software. ISG has remained true to its roots and continues to be one of the area's leading open-source shops. ISG opened its first office in North Haven, CT right on route 5. A key feature of the small office was a state of the art training room and network designed to allow training programs around open source technology to the public. ISG's training programs were quite successful and well known throughout the northeast. We pride ourselves on offering the most technically advanced and hands-on training programs. Always looking to give back to the community, Gary was a founding member of the Southern CT Open Source User Group (http://www.scosug.org ). The ISG training room was the primary venue for SCOSUG. ISG has continued to grow, along with the open source market. In February 2006 we moved to larger offices in Wallingford, just a few miles from our original location. In June 2007, we purchased our office and began a complete renovation and expansion. Construction was completed in January 2008. Our new office has a larger training room and is home to a new data center that will allow us to grow our hosting business. We have entered into new markets like Customer Relations Management, Communications and Collaboration, and Content Management Systems with the most advanced open source solutions. Our data center will become the center of our business as the shift to hosted and managed solutions picks up speed. Modern software systems are becoming increasingly complex and integrated.
