Inizio Interventions

Sally Torrens and Cara Stearns Entz have joined together to create Inizio Interventions, Inc., a provider of evidence-based behavior intervention services for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Inizio's inception is a collaborative venture borne from a suggestion-to paraphrase Victor Hugo- "Nothing can withstand the for... ce of an idea whose time has come." Twenty-six years in the field of behavior intervention, Cara directly worked with and studied under the pioneer in the field of ABA and is experienced in directing three unique agencies: from the Young Autism Clinic; a foster care and adoption program for 11 years; and a behavior agency for 9 years that experienced several years of exponential growth. Cara spearheaded satellite office openings and operations that grew from 3-11 offices, including two out-of-state offices. Cara is a proven leader of over 300 staff, and a creative thinker with new solutions to problems and new strategies to improve the quality of life for clients, staff, and the organizations surrounding the individuals. Sixteen years in the field of working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and emotional disturbances, Sally has worked for 12 years in multiple capacities for an agency that serves children with developmental disabilities, including managing the clinical operations of the Los Angeles satellite office, writing and developing agency-wide programs and proposals for satellite offices, and spearheading new satellite office openings.
