Tony Shuttleworth was one of the initial licensed consultants appointed by Business Victoria to facilitate the government Supply chain management program with retailers and suppliers during the early nineties. Worked closely with the liaison team and buyers from CML (Coles Myer Limited) and suppliers as a facilitator in the QR (Quick Response) and EANWAY programs. As a result of these programs IPT recognised the successful implementation of supply chain management programs were being hindered by the lack of enabling technologies across the supply chain. Jim Gatsios with his experience in communications as part of a telecom technology development team and as a consultant involved in resolving supply chain technology issues, headed a IPT team that initially developed a number of integrated software applications to resolve these issues. The development of this technology has continued over the last ten years and now IPT can offer an Enterprise the enabling technology solution and a total Business-to-Business solution that will support their supply chain management strategies. IPT, has been working with CML (Coles Myer Limited) electronic Trading team and the liaison team over a number of years to develop software applications to support the CML rollout of a number of supply chain management projects, including RPO (Reverse Purchase Orders), Data Management and integration applications for the CML DC's (Distribution Centres) in Hong Kong and Singapore.
