In cases where an infection is difficult to diagnose or does not respond to treatment, your doctor may refer you to an Infectious Diseases specialist. Infectious Diseases Associates is a group of consulting physicians who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of infections and infectious diseases. The company's physicians are available to the company's referring physicians twenty four hours a day to provide ID care. It is a privilege to care for the company's patients at the request of both local and out of town physicians. Infectious Diseases Associates has 2 separate infusion suites to serve the company's patients. One suite is for daily administration and the other is for pharmacy dispensing and patient training. Insurance and financial constraints will often determine where outpatient IV administration takes place. All outpatient IV administration is more cost effective than hospitalization.
