It all started with a typo. Svetlana asked Roman to lead a few improv games at an upcoming cocktail party. During the conversation, a text was sent that spelled the word improvise as improvice," and the rest was history. Svetlana and Roman jumped on the idea and decided to combine their respective passions for cocktails and improv into one hilariou... s, boozy event. And so ImprovIce was born. Roman has been studying and performing improv for almost a decade. His alma maters include Magnet Theater, the PIT, and DCImprov. What started as a fun summer activity in law school turned into a never-ending pursuit to bring improv into every part of his life. And so he did: running team-building workshops in the office and at parties with friends. When not teaching or performing improv, Roman runs a legal tech startup, freelance writes and stays active through yoga, rock climbing and snowboarding. Svetlana is by profession an attorney with gourmet inclinations and a passion for cocktails.
