About Imperial Builders & Supply
Imperial Builders & Supply was founded in 1966 by Ralph Faircloth, Sr., a foliage nurseryman. The office and warehouse for IB&S were on Cleveland St. in Apopka along with the nursery. Ralph's brother managed the company until 1971 when Ralph sold his nurseries and IB&S to Stratford of Texas (Green Thumb). In 1974 Ralph Faircloth, Jr. and Mike Grandey purchased IB&S from Stratford. A new office and warehouses were constructed on Park Ave. in Apopka. In 1982 Mike purchased Ralph's interest in the business and brought in Pete Fries as Vice President/General Manager. The current current office, sales room, warehouse and fabrication facility were built in 2008 on General Electric Rd. in Plymouth, just west of Apopka. IB&S currently has 17 employees and deals in retail sales of nursery irrigation supplies and equipment, greenhouse building supplies and equipment, fabrication and welding, greenhouse and warehouse manufacturing and greenhouse and warehouse construction.Explore more
