About Impact

IMPACT! Missions is an interdenominational Christian Housing Ministry. We align homeowners in need of a warm, safe, and dry home with groups and individuals who are willing to serve to make that happen. Our programs are built around Jesus, our Lord and Savior, and building and strengthening our relationship with Him through service. We are currently focusing our efforts throughout Lancaster County, PA. We find the sites, order the materials, provide insurance, organize the work, provide onsite experienced help, and lead devotions/programs during work days. We provide an ongoing relationship with the resident to make sure their needs are being fulfilled in a timely fashion. If the work cannot be finished by a volunteer work crew, we will hire or have volunteer contractors finish the work. All of this is at no cost to the homeowner. However, we do ask the homeowner to contribute financially to the projects or to help with some of the work on the project, if they are able to do so. We feeRead more

However, we do ask the homeowner to contribute financially to the projects or to help with some of the work on the project, if they are able to do so. We feel this helps to build a relationship between the volunteers who are serving and the homeowner. Our ministry helps individuals who do not have the means. Individuals who make less than two times the poverty level and are in need of our help are referred to us by the CAP office, food banks, and churches. The funds needed to pay for our homeowner projects come from the generous donations of individuals and groups and from proceeds from our IMPACT! Missions Store. Our IMPACT! Missions Store, located in Refton, PA sells quality, gently-used cabinets, windows, doors, flooring, appliances and more. All of the proceeds help to pay for the costs associated with the homeowners in need that we are serving. We have many opportunities throughout the week and on Saturdays for individuals and groups to volunteer to serve. We also hold week-long work camps throughout the year. Also, there are opportunities for individuals and groups to serve at our IMPACT! Missions Store. We also offer training for home repairs that both residents and ...Read More
