Doug has worked in Public Practice since 1998 and brings to the practice considerable knowledge gained from his exposure to business management, business lending and international trade documentation gained while working in the banking sector. Doug is a Rugby enthusiast and a failed marathon runner. Ben has been in public practice as a qualified Accountant since 1997 where he has been exposed to a variety of industries and clients. Ben has worked in several firms both in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, before joining Doug in Partnership at Impact Accounting Solutions Pty Ltd in June 2004. Ben shares running the practice with Doug as well as providing pro-active advice to clients, with strengths in structuring advice, tax planning, financial planning and business services. Ben has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting through QUT, and is a Fellow of CPA Australia with a Practising Certificate. Ben is a Registered Tax Agent and holds a Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning), and has been practicing as a Financial Adviser since 2013 as an Authorised Representative of Sentry Financial Services Pty Ltd AFSL 286786.
