Serving Monmouth County and Ocean County. Hello, my name is Dr. Jay Victor Wortzel. For over 30 years, I have been practicing medicine at my office on Monmouth Road in Oakhurst, New.Jersey. The name of the practice is Immediate Medical Services. If you have an urgent problem, you might need to get to a hospital fast! Thankfully, most urgencies are not big or life-threatening. The long wait and major expense of a hospital emergency department visit usually arent necessary for conditions such as sprained ankles, minor cuts, bruises and burns, colds, viruses or ear infections. They can be easily treated at Immediate Medical Services, where you can walk in without an appointment and, in most cases, be seen by a physician within a few minutes 365 days a year. Also, if you need any testing, there is a diagnostic laboratory and diagnostic radiology suite on-site for your convenience. I am a board certified emergency medicine specialist. In fact, all of the physicians who work here are board certified in family practice, internal medicine or occupational medicine. Our clinical support staff is made up of certified medical assistants and licensed practical nurses. Work related injuries, pre-employment physicals, school and sports physicals as well as executive physicals are welcome. The center opens every day at 8 oclock in the morning to accommodate your busy schedule.
