Prior to forming IMD group she was Chief Executive of Odyssey Arena in Belfast from 2000- 2010. On behalf of SMG she oversaw the planning and opening of the venue, which opened on time and within budget. She and her team developed the business into the 8th busiest arena worldwide. She developed excellent relationships with stakeholders, Government, City leaders and media. Prior to this Nicky spent 12 years at London Arena . In 1991 the company went into receivership, Price Waterhouse Coopers appointed Nicky the senior member of management. After preparing a business plan she was responsible for the reorganizing, reopening and management of the Arena until the purchase by new owners SMG. Nicky sits on the following boards: Nicky has extensive experience in all aspects of venue and event management, she has prepared feasibility studies and business plans, been responsible for operational design and preopening services, and opened venues. Her venue management knowledge includes Finance, Marketing, Sponsorship, Operations, Ticketing, Food and Beverage, HR and governance She has promoted and managed major successful events and has excellent relationships with major players in the worlds of Entertainment, Sport and The Arts.
