Image Works is a full service production company established over 35 years ago in Westport, CT, just 50 miles north of New York City. Owned by partners Mark Bunger and Habtom Asmelash, Image Works has been providing global CPG companies, advertising agencies, graphic designers and promotion consultant organizations with high quality, specialized gr... aphic services with the approach of a partner, not a vendor. Starting with a Pure Craft Mark Bunger started as a package designer creating comps completely by hand for clients such as Kraft General Foods, Cheeseborough Ponds (now Unilever) and Pfizer. By 1980 Mark had started his own company, Image Works, and stayed focused on creating product comps while expanding his client base to include companies such as Pepperidge Farm, Burger King, Pepsi, Schick & US Surgical (now Covidien). Embracing Computer Technology The 1990's brought significant change to the industry and Image Works embraced the transformation from hand craft to film-based. They brought in state of the art equipment such as image setter devices to make films so they could offer prepress, separation and ultimately print ready file preparation services clients such as Motorola, Nestle, Playtex and Prestone as well as leading Beauty Care clients Clairol Professional, Zotos and John Frieda. Always Evolving.. For the past 10 years Image Works has continued to grow and has taken their operation completely digital. New equipment such as the Esko Kongsberg computer controlled cutting table enables them to cut any package or display with precision repeatability from any digital file while adding new clients such as Procter & Gamble, Wella American Classics, GlaxoSmithKline, Church & Dwight and Philips.
