The Moroccan Federation is part of the IFMSA Global Network, the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations, representing medical student associations in more than 127 member countries. IFMSA defines itself as a non-governmental, apolitical organization that defends and encourages the involvement of future physicians in the development of national and international health policies and their contribution to the improvement of the latter's indicators across the world. various projects and programs within the following four main areas: Public health, Sexual and reproductive health, Medical education, Humain rights and peace. Furthermore,IFMSA organizes the largest student-managed exchange program in the world with nearly 13,000 students going on exchange for a clinical or research internship each year.
