Ideal Art

Ideal Art was created by Melbourne couple Karen & Paul Beynon in 2004. We are self taught artists and paint out of our home studio. Our aim is to provide people with the chance to buy hand painted original modern art to suit their homes. When we started Ideal Art we saw a need for a range of artworks that were accessible to people who wanted modern... artwork, but didn't want to "invest" in artwork from high profile, high price artists and galleries. We wanted our artworks to be at a price range that similar to other home wares accessories, like rugs, cushions & mirrors. This allows people to change the look of their space regularly without spending a fortune. To offer such affordable priced artwork, we replicate our existing artwork designs by hand. This dramatically reduces the time required to create an artwork as the design & technique have already been decided and fine-tuned. As each artwork is replicated no two artworks are exactly the same, with slight variations to layout, brushstrokes that naturally occur during the painting process. We love what we do as it combines our passion for painting, creativity and design with interior styling and trends. The online gallery is constantly refreshed with new styles to keep up with current interior trends and ensure that only a limited number of the same design are created.
