ICG was founded in April 2001, and is certified as a Minority/DBE firm by the City of Kansas City, Missouri and the Mid America Minority Business Development Council. ICGs 5M division is focused on wholesale distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety supplies nationwide. Mr. Ahmed founded ICG, Inc. in April 2001, he continues to grow the companys client base, revenue and profitability since founding the company. Mr. Ahmed grew up in the janitorial business. His grandfather, Leo Clarke, founded a janitorial and supply business in Connecticut in 1918. His father, George Clarke, grew the business, and then his nephew Randy Clarke was named President of the company. The company will reach its 100th year in 2018. Prior to founding ICG, Inc., Mr. Ahmed was employed by IBM for 22 years in sales, and he served as a sales manager for 14 years. Rasool participated in many IBM executive management classes during his 22 year career. He has a proven track record of providing dynamic leadership to large geographic sales organizations. His industry expertise ranges in: Distribution, Facilities Services, Construction and Insurance. Rasool has a wealth of expertise and experience in personnel management and process re-engineering. He has helped his clients streamline their business operations, resulting in an increase in customer satisfaction, revenue and profitably. Rasool received his BS degree in Business Administration and Marketing at the University of CT. in 1977, while lettering in Football. The IBM Corporation sponsored Mr. Ahmeds Executive MBA, which he earned at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo in 1997. Mindy Gee began working at ICG since 2004, in the payroll department.
