I'm an experienced childcare provider, with background in the medical field. After a year of working at Weiss Memorial Hospital, I realized my heart was missing small and touchable moments in a child's life. My role, as educator is immeasurable. My job is not only to teach basic concepts of ethic, discipline and play, but also to teach my students-... busy bees about compassion, sharing, and ambition, and what takes to reach our goals offering guidance along the way! I really feel that teachers are luckies people on Earth because we are submerged in young souls all the time, every day! Each month our curriculum focuses on a different theme and includes lessons, activities and projects related to that particular theme. Parents are provided monthly schedule that income them of all the exciting things their children will be learning about that month! All teachers at Icare Daycare have not only met all requirements established by DCFS but constantly improving in child education field. We feel it is important for children to see that learning can occur outside of their regular classroom. Field trips and other extra curriculum activities will compliment a particular theme that is being discussed in the classroom. We use a Local, Organic picked Food and snacks to serve its children!
