Founded in 1968, the IB aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. John's views on the international migration of IB diploma holders view... s are regularly sought after by global audiences. He speaks frequently and passionately at key international events throughout Asia, North America, and Europe, and regularly meets with key university and government officials to ensure that the IB is understood in the variety of countries where it exists. In November 2009 John spoke at the TED conference in Mysore, India, and in January 2010 presented at the World Universities Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Prior to joining the IB, John spent the past twelve years working in international education, most recently in Korea where he was Assistant to Head of School at Seoul Foreign School. John has been a teacher, IB Coordinator, and administrator in both the Asia Pacific region and in Africa/Europe/Middle East.
