Ian Runkle

Prior to his legal career, he received a B.A. in psychology from Simon Fraser University. He received his LLB from the University of Alberta. Ian is also a firearms owner and target shooter, and as such has both a keen interest in the law relating to firearms as well as an understanding of many of the unique issues that may arise for firearms owner... s. He feels that a real understanding of firearms themselves is critical for handling a matter that involves charges relating to prohibited weapons, prohibited devices, replica weapons, careless use or storage, and other similar charges. He has also taught Firearms and Weapons Law at the University of Alberta. Ian believes in a practice focused on providing clients with effective representation based on a thorough assessment of the evidence, frank and candid analysis and advice, and pursuit of the client's best interests.
