iAC IP

The iAC is a U-shaped console, integrated with the MiAC anesthesia machine module . The module can connect to either arm of the console via self-sealing gas / vacuum / AGSS 1 / power and data connectors. Male connections are located at the rear of the module and non-interchangeable female connections are on each arm of the console. The anesthesia m... odule can be switched between arms within seconds giving full flexibility with respect to machine handedness. This provides unbeatable flexibility to the end user, administrators and organisations. The anesthesiologist utilizes the inside, while their assistant utilizes the storage and preparation areas outside. This separates their work lanes. The overall footprint of the iAC is less than the components it replaces and is therefore spacesaving as well as reducing clutter. The machine is human centered, and is based on ergonomic principles. The iAC is purposefully designed to maximize the forward gaze of the anesthesiologist and their assistant. This will increase their situational awareness of events in the room. 88% of medical error is attributable to inadequate situational awareness. With a slaved widescreen monitor on the opposite wall, directly in front of the core, group situational awareness is also facilitated.
