We are a group of Sydney-trained Anaesthetists caring for patients in various public and private hospitals across New South Wales. While we each practice as individual specialist Anaesthetists, we share an office and secretarial staff in our Castle Hill rooms. Anaesthetists (known as Anaesthesiologists in the United States) are highly trained medic... al specialists with more than six years specialist training AFTER their basic Medical degree. We specialise in Anaesthesia for all types of surgical and medical procedures, pain management and management of the peri-operative patient's medical condition including emergencies and resuscitation. We also provide analgesia in labour for pregnant patients in the delivery suite. After your consultation with the Surgeon and you have decided on the Hospital and date of your operation, you will be given the name of your Anaesthetist from the Surgeons rooms or the hospital. If your condition or type of surgery is complex, your Anaesthetist may wish to have a Consultation with you prior to the surgical admission.
