Hyde Sails was founded in 1965 when Edward Hyde and Keith Musto applied the experience they had gained at the leading edge of sailboat racing to establish a sail making business to match their competitive pedigree. Hyde Sails is now the second largest sail maker in the UK and is a rapidly expanding company recognised as a major force in worldwide dinghy and yacht markets. Hyde Sails produce 40,000 sails per year including dinghies, One Design Keelboats, custom racing and cruising yacht sails. Head Office is in the UK whilst the manufacturing facility, wholly owned by Hyde, is in the Philippines. This large 50,000sqft modern sail loft is managed by two veteran sail makers who have worked for Hyde Sails for over 30 years between them. Their wealth of knowledge in design, production and specification, along with a team of 200 staff guarantees high volume production of top quality products.
