Hutter Auction Galleries was founded in 2010 with the intention to provide a boutique auction experience for the secondary market in Manhattan. Adam Hutter, Founder and Principal Auctioneer, recognized the need to establish an auction gallery where customers and sellers would receive the personalized service that New Yorkers have come to expect. Ad... am is a licensed auctioneer who has been working in the auction and appraisal business for over twenty years specializing in Fine Art, Antiques, Mid-century Design, Jewelry, Rugs, and Collectibles. As a son of one of the owners of the famed Tepper Galleries, Adam formally joined the family business in 1990. Within five years Adam rose to become Principal Auctioneer at Tepper, and one of the most recognizable auctioneers in New York City. Hutter Auction Galleries conducts monthly auctions featuring items sourced from estate liquidations, private consignments, and items directly purchased by the gallery. Our clients join us anywhere from Park Avenue to Williamsburg, from Westchester to the Hamptons, from across the country and around the globe.
