Humphrey Perkins delivers outstanding learning outcomes for pupils aged 11-14 through an excellent all round education. Whilst recognising the importance of academic achievement we also emphasise the need for wider social, cultural and sporting development. Humphreys' pupils achieve some of the best SATs and GCSE results in England, but we also wan... t them to gain the personal qualities, inter-personal skills, character, hobbies and interests needed to make a success of adult life. We expect our pupils to work hard and parents to support us in encouraging their children to develop the competencies and skills needed to achieve success. We want to work in partnership with parents, guardians and carers to ensure that together we build positive home-school relationships. Our School was founded nearly 300 years ago by the Rev. Humphrey Perkins for the children in the local area. Today the secret of our success lies in who we are and the values we hold.
