Hugo Ross was born and brought up in Wick, Caithness where he has always had a keen interest in fishing, he started fishing around the age of 5 years old and in fact caught his first Salmon when he was 12 on the River Wick. Something that any 12 year old would be proud of! Hugo started up his own business in February 1988 where it has gone from str... ength to strength. Having built up a reputation for delivering a first class service to all his customers, he is now delighted to open up his Online Shop which he believes will play an important role in the business. Although Hugo has established a well known business which he runs day to day he still finds time to do what he enjoys best, fishing! He regularly fishes on Lochs Watten, St Johns, Toftingall, although River Thurso still remains his favourite. Hugo still believes Caithness is unbeatable and deffinately hosts some of the finest 'wild' brown trout fishing available in Scotland.
