Huey & Associates, P.C. is a full-service public accounting firm that has served the DC Metro are community for over 75 years. The founder, Samuel R. Huey, opened a bookkeeping and tax preparation service out of his home in Northwest DC, servicing a variety of clients (some of whom the company still serve today). His son, Harvey L. Huey graduated f... rom the Wharton School of Business and received the top score in the State of Maryland when he took the CPA exam in 1928. Today, the firm is lead by Robert D. Huey, CPA (Samuel's grandson and Harvey's son) who graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1981 from the University of Delaware. Rob first worked for several years with Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) before joining his father in 1985. He brings a current understanding of audit and accounting practices as well as a broad knowledge of tax laws as they apply to businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals today. Rob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Huey and Associates, P.C. holds itself to the highest professional standards of service and has passed the peer review program of quality control standards as established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.Read More
