Huddle Up Moms

Huddle Up Moms began in Southwest Virginia with the mission of empowering mothers through education, connection, and support. We aim to fuel meaningful connections within our community by working collaboratively with other organizations that promote womens health and wellness. We believe that all mothers deserve to flourish in all aspects of their... lives. We know it takes a village to raise a family and we want to provide women the resources they need locally to build that family. We believe in empowering women to prioritize their well-being and in connecting mothers to the support they need to be happy, healthy, and confident. We provide educational content in the forms of videos, prerecorded workshops, blogs, and panel discussions to connect and educate the community. We aim to promote and encourage mothers to be successful thought leaders within the community and provide them with valuable programming about important women's health issues and holistic wellbeing. We established organized groups of women with similar lived experiences and designed programming to show mothers how to thrive in the community throughout the different stages of their motherhood journey. These are opportunities for mothers to come together to learn from each other in a safe environment. "When I became a mother, I gained a new identity that I welcomed and love, however, I found myself looking in the mirror somewhat lost. I only saw this new role - a mom. Surrounding myself with the moms in this community and the Huddle Up Moms team was my first step to embracing myself as a mother and discovering my old (but newer version) self again.
