Howell Holding bv started its business in 1994. Originally focused on kiloware - on and off paper -, packets and compositions the company soon also sold and exchanged wholesale lots consisting of mnh.stamps, cto and phonecards. Over the years local issues, private issues and cover lots became an important part of the business. In 2005 the company m... oved to its current address in Den Haag, Zuiderparklaan 133. Exchange of material we have in surplus quantities is still the main purpose of the activities of Howell Holding. Our main interest are all local and private issues of any country in the world. Also not official - non-catalogued - material is always of interest for us. Many items listed in the site (priced 2,25) are available for exchange often on 1:1 base. Higher priced items have to be discussed regarding exchange base. Each exchange has to involve a minimum of 500 items. Although not a typical wholesale activity we started - at request of local collectors - weekly meetings on each Saturday where collectors can search 5-cent books in our office from 9.30 till 16.30 hours. This turned out to be a success and an answer to a growing demand of numerous collectors. Separate meetings (on evenings) are being organised with members of philatelic associations located outside Den Haag. For this purpose we exchange material from our stock against used stamps from countries all over the world with many collectors and dealers in many countries.
