Established in 2001, Hot Spot Films is a dynamic documentary production company based in the Middle East. We have been making films for over 10 years in almost 70 different countries. On a mission to explore cultural history, human evolution, social justice, contemporary human rights issues, and profile heroes of humanity we gained an extensive exp... erience in working in different parts of the world. We have been in the forests of the Amazon and the villages of Uganda; we have met the gypsies of Spain and spoken with former Yugoslavian presidents. With a global expertise and experience, we work to push creative and strategic boundaries in order to reach and capture human stories. Hot Spot Films was established by Assaad Taha, General Manager, who started his career as a journalist and later became the producer and host of Hot Spot on Al Jazeera News Channel.
