One chilly summer evening a couple of years ago, Park City stonemason George Austin sat on one of his carved stone benches playing his mandolin. The sun had set a couple hours ago but the bench was still warm. "That evening I decided to build a bench that would produce the same warm... feeling, even in the wintertime," said Austin. Three years ago, Austin completed his prototype and launched Hot Rocks Custom Furniture to market the benches. Thermostatically-controlled to maintain body temperature or higher in frigid climates, these benchs run on 110 Volts and are a cost efficient complement to any hot tub, fire pit or observation deck.
