About Horizon Industries
Horizon Industries, a division of East Texas Lighthouse for the Blind, is one of the largest converters of industrial wiping towels and paracord for the United States government. The company's mission is to "Empower Blind Americans" through rehabilitation, education, training and employment. From a 92,000 square foot facility located in downtown Tyler, TX, Horizon shipped over 24,000 miles of parachute cord and 4.1 million pounds of industrial wipers to the company's customers in 2014.
