Its humble beginning started in the San Francisco Bay Area spanning across the bay to Oakland, California. Aside from playing, living, and breathing Basketball... the brothers and their friends just couldn't get enough. They began to host local tournaments for the youth and adults. They eventually secured business sponsorships and hosted the very f... irst Silicon Valley Corporate League. From there they organized countless basketball events including (Urban and Asian) City leagues, as well as Pro-Am basketball tournaments featuring the likes of Jason Kidd, Gary Payton, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, and Bobby Jackson... following in the footsteps of the renowned SF Pro-Am League which featured players like Damian Lillard, Jeremy Lin, Steve Nash, and Steph Curry. Hoopnation was not only about the game. It was about the culture and the lifestyle. You didn't show up to the park or the gym just to play a game. You came to represent and "Ball Out. From day one our company and clothing have always embodied these beliefs, and convey this through our designs and apparel.
