Homeskooling 4 Dogs provides behavioral consultation services and private in-home dog training. My mission is to see a world where dogs cooperate, not submit. A world where people act like leaders not adversaries; and the dogs are partners not prisoners. I envision a world where dogs are treated as family and people are their dog's best friend. My goal is for people to be happy when we arrive with our dogs, not when we leave. Glenn Massie is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) who has worked with all types of behavioral issues, and specializes in working with challenging dogs. Glenn's method of training is based on the positive foundation of building trust, respect, and desire. Training should be a positive experience, not punishing. Glenn trains dogs using a martingale collar, or a standard buckle collar. No type of electronic collar "training aid" (e-collar), or any type of choke chain, prong or pinch collar of any type are ever used. These "tools" are not necessary to train a dog. All training is designed to be simple enough for your dog to understand. Understanding dogs and applying well-reasoned methods is as much of an art as it is a science. For training to be the most effective a dog must trust, respect, and desire to be with you. Glenn trains people to be their dog's leader and best friend, so that the dog's desire is the giver not just the gift.
