Dans background and introduction into the property industry is not the most conventional. Having studied education at Sheffield, he worked for the local authority and independently as an ICT consultant in Education. Having decided a change of direction was in order after 7 years, he worked for a local security business as an installer, surveyor and... operations manager for a number of years, with experience in ISO9001. Whilst working there he got back in contact with an old friend who had for a number of years been both a non domestic and domestic energy assessor. In 2012, having qualified as a DEA, he made the move, working initially with his friend, then lately having formed Homes Property & Energy Services. Now in the role of Senior Partner, Dan is responsible for large clients such as Chatsworth Estate, South Staffordshire Housing Association and Capita, business development and growth, whilst continuing his commitments to clients as a Domestic and Non Domestic Assessor. Dan is also currently working towards his RICS accreditation. Claire gained her RIBA Part 1 at Leicester De Montfort University before joining her local County Council as an Architectural Technician, where much of her work involved the refurbishment and extension of schools. She then went to work as a BREEAM Assessor and BREEAM Accredited Professional for an environmental consultancy, where she worked with design teams and contractors to achieve BREEAM certifications for a range of projects, from schools and universities to hospitals and offices. Having known Dan for several years, Claire joined the company in September 2015, and specialises in domestic and non domestic EPCs, covering East Anglia, London and the South East. During 2016 Claire has also added new build domestic assessment to her portfolio of work. Dan and Claire are supported by Gina, she is the first port of call for all enquiries, responsible for diaries and invoicing.
