Home Grown Learning Lab is a hybrid homeschooling resource center dedicated to the next generation of dreamers and thinkers and their families. child-led learning, natural living, and mindful parenting. We are excited to offer our local homeschooling community a place to learn and grow with families and e... ducators that are dedicated to the next generation of dreamers and thinkers. Our inquiry-based, child-led curriculum blends the best of Montessori, Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, unschooling models and utilizes the materials in both our indoor and outdoor spaces. Our parent education component emphasizes positive discipline, nonviolent communication, and guiding versus teaching. The Lab is a secular space and welcomes families from all beliefs and perspectives. Our ultimate goal is to create a naturally-minded tribe of homeschooling families in which various perspectives and choices are welcomed while creating a safe space for our families to learn and grow. Mindful parenting and the belief that children are deserving of respect are the only real prerequisites! Currently, the Lab is open to families of children ages 2-6. We look forward to learning more about your family and whether or not the Lab would be a helpful supplement to your homeschooling journey.
