Holy Trinity

Coming from a long line of priests in his family, Jeremy was born in Detroit, MI, but has been a Floridian since the family relocated in his early childhood, first to Miami and later to Atlantic Beach. He earned his BA from UF in 1959, and did graduate work in ancient and medieval history at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. After teaching a year at... Morehouse College in Atlanta, he moved to Cambridge, MA, and in 1965 graduated from the Episcopal Theological School. While serving as a curate in Rochester, NY, Jeremy was ordained to the priesthood on April 30, 1966. Following a three-year stint as church school chaplain on St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, Jeremy returned to UF for graduate work. While pursuing his studies, he served as supply clergy at many mission churches in the Gainesville area. In addition to his clerical duties, Jeremy taught English, math, and Latin at Interlachen High School, from 1978 until retirement in 2002. Fr. Jeremy served as Interim Chaplain at UFs Chapel of the Incarnation in 1982-83 and as Interim Priest at St. Michael's, Gainesville, from 1983-84. In 1984, he came to Holy Trinity as an assisting priest under the Rev. Earle Page and has served all rectors since then. In 2009, Holy Trinity celebrated Fr.
