John's first experience with moving buildings was at the age of 14 with Vic Minty of Minty's House Moving in Manitoba. In 1983 John and Sandra started their own building moving company in Manitoba under the expert knowledge and directi... on of then retired Vic Minty. In 1987 John and Sandra moved their business and their young family to Stavely Alberta. At the age of 16 their son Russell was helping on the job site whenever he could. After High School Russell came to work full-time, choosing Building Moving as his career. With 2 crews operated by John and Russell, Sandra and their daughter Sarah in the office and our great team of employees, we are committed to completing projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to a high standard of quality. With multiple pairing hydraulic dollies, a unified jacking system, air ride steering dollies for tight turns and a large assortment of beam sizes, we have the equipment, knowledge and experience to look after your building.
