About Holland Pattern
Holland Pattern was founded in 1943. Michigan was the heart of the foundry industry and West Michigan led the way with foundries in nearly every town including Holland, Grand Haven, Muskegon and Grand Rapids. Partners Gettit Witt and Karl Sundquist founded Holland Pattern to serve foundries in the surrounding areas. Witt commuted 30 miles from Muskegon and Sundquist from Grand Rapids as they called on foundries in the area and met in Holland to build their patterns. Today, Holland Pattern is a state of the art tool shop owned and operated by Richard Hagen and his son Greg Hagen. Although the pattern industry has changed over the years, Holland Pattern has remained competitive by implementing modern CNC mills and CAD programs for design.Explore more
