Paige Lescure is the primary consultant for Holistic Practice Consulting. She has spent more than 25 years as a healthcare lawyer representing physicians, hospitals, and virtually all types of healthcare practitioners and entities. She has advised on many joint ventures between providers, including one of the earliest joint ventures between a hospi... tal and a holistic complementary medicine institute. She was an assistant clinical law professor at Hofstra Law School, leading Hofstra's first health law clinic, and taught law and business practices for herbalists as an adjunct at the Maryland University of Integrative Health. Paige has been a longstanding advocate for integration and advancement of holistic, alternative and complementary medicine. Holistic Practice Consulting was conceived in 2017 with the goal of developing a resource for business development and compliance for the small holistic practitioner. This goal is part of the larger mission to advance the use of and access to holistic medicine and therapies and to promote more integrative health delivery models. HPC will work for advancement by supporting and assisting small holistic practitioners in their business practices and by working with holistic practitioner groups to create legislative and regulatory change. Paige holds a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, an advanced law degree (LL.M.) in health care law from the New York University School of Law, and a M.S. in herbal medicine from the Maryland University of Integrative Health.
