About H&K Gourmet
Each product we create has a story and purpose, setting us apart from other spice companies. In 2012, Hogan Popkess and Kyler Emert founded H&K Gourmet in a Kansas garage to share their passion for premium Midwest barbecue. The company's first sales were at their high school graduation party with friends and family. As a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Hogan has the experience and knowledge of blending flavors to create a truly one-of-a-kind experience that elevates any meal to new levels. Paired with Kyler's multiple business degrees, strategic direction, and dedication to perfection, the formation of H&K Gourmet was natural.
