About Hitech Racing
Hitech Racing was established in December 2002 when David Hayle was approached by Dennis Rushen to set up the team. As one of the country's leading junior driver managers, Dennis organised for Andrew Thompson to be Hitech's first driver. In just seven days, David had bought his first F3 car, acquired a workshop at Silverstone, the home of the British Grand Prix, and sought all of the equipment necessary to run a team. On the eighth day, the team were on the track at Oulton Park testing! Subsequently, David was approached to take on two of the Renault Development Drivers, Eric Salignon and Danny Watts, which consolidated the Hitech team with their F303 Dallara-Renault cars for the 2003 season. That maiden season was an outstanding one, despite some disappointments along the way.
