Welcome to The Red Lion Inn, Hinxton We are delighted to have been allowed to open our doors again since 4th July. The feedback from customers so far has been fantastic and very reassuring. Welcome to the multi award-winning Red Lion Inn, a privately owned free house pub restaurant with bed & breakfast accommodation that has resided at the heart of the pretty conservation village of Hinxton, Cambridgeshire, since the 16th Century. This historic, Grade II listed building provides the perfect backdrop for enjoying fabulous food and drink, in the company of friends, family and colleagues. Exposed beams, well stoked fires and Chesterfield sofas invite you to stay a while and relax, while an impressive oak, dry peg extension is an elegant, spacious room in which to dine. In the warmer months, the inns quintessentially English, Cambridge walled garden is a tranquil setting in which to eat, drink and socialise under the watchful gaze of the dovecote and village church clock tower. The menu comprises contemporary and traditional dishes, created with culinary flair and using only the freshest, locally sourced seasonal produce. We look forward to seeing you soon. The Grade II listed Bar at The Red Lion Inn oozes charm and character with its low ceilings, two Chesterfield sofas, open fire and wooden floor. The bar tables, with their high-backed upholstered settles, are often the preferred option for more informal dining. There are always four local real ales to be enjoyed on the pumps.
