About Himex
HIMEX CORPORATION was formed in 1990 through a long and well-thought planning of six (6) brilliant minds headed by a Japanese engineering graduate of Wasada University, Mr. Teruhiro Ohno. Raised in a family that runs a medical distribution business in Japan, Mr. Ohno recognized the growing potential of the Philippine market for medical equipment and supplies. Founded by his knowledge and experience in the medical field came the birth of Himex Corporation. In the beginning, Himex gained recognition in the medical industry as an importer and distributor of medical supplies. A few months later, the company spread its wings and got involved in engineering services. It was able to secure commissioning contract for major Japan grant-aid (JICA) projects for the Philippines and other countries.
