Hillside Properties, a family owned residential property business, was founded in 1988 and has become an institution in Durbanville, Bellville and surrounding areas. Its name was inspired by its location in the picturesque Protea Valley Hills. Hillside has been selling homes (free-standing, townhouses and apartments) in the greater Durbanville and... Bellville area for over 25 years, also extending into the sub-regions of Durbanville Hills, Kenridge, De Bron, Aurora, Nerina, Stellenberg, Eversdal, Sonstraal Heights, Goedemoed, Sonstraal, Stellenridge and Ridgeworth. Margaret Richings, the founder of Hillside, is known for her tenacity, integrity and impeccable service. She first opened her doors 25 years ago and since then Hillside has grown into the thriving business it is today, with a staff complement of fifteen spread over two offices. In 2007 Margaret's daughter, Katherine Badenhorst and her husband Roelof Badenhorst, founded a completely independent wing of the business in Stellenberg, quadrupling their business within a year. On 1st June 2013, Hillside Properties Stellenberg bought Hillside Properties Kenridge and Katherine is now the Director of both offices.
