Hilcasa was founded in 1964 under the name HILATURAS DE CENTROAMERICA, S.A. DE C.V. As a joint venture between grupo Siman and foreign investors. In 1992, initiated a reconversion and expansion process. Old machinery was totally replaced by the latest technology from the top textile machinery brands such a Trutzschler, Rieter, Zinser, Schlafhorst,... and Savio, and is now producing ring-spun yarns from Ne 8 to Ne 44, open-end yarns, softspun yarns, combed, slub and plied yarns. Hilcasa also produces heather and polycotton yarns, and has been certified to produce organic-cotton yarns and Supima-cotton yarns. Hilcasa supplies best-quality yarns to textile mills in Mexico, Central America and Caribbean, and supplies fabric to apparel manufacturers in the region. Hilcasa is located in the city of Apopa, in San Salvador, Republic of El Salvador in Central America, only 20 minutes from the financial and commercial district in the capital city of San Salvador, and easily accessible to maritime routes and ports in the Pacific and the Atlantic coasts.Read More
