Higgins & Associates, Inc. was created in 2000 to provide a multi-disciplined firm providing service to property owners, insurance companies, contractors, and attorneys. We offer forensic engineering and expert testimony services specializing in the areas of structural, geotechnical, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering. Our firm also conducts cause-and-origin investigations of fire and explosion losses. We have conducted over 1000 investigations involving geotechnical, civil, structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical system failures. We have evaluated fire, flood, storm, water loss, wind, and automobile impact losses for owners and insurance companies alike. We have also conducted and provided expert testimony for construction defect cases and fire investigations at residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. Project documentation, research, evidence testing, and quality control has been recognized as an integral part of the process and each project that leaves the office has been reviewed by Michael Higgins.
