"We aim to build a bridge linking the recruitment needs of local employers and the employment demands of international students." Ian's personality of loving to make new friends attributed to the establishment of HeyCareer. "Afte... r coming to Halifax, I got chances to know lots of local employers who hope that I can recommend excellent young people, especially international students," said Ian, "My business partner knows many international students who want to stay in Halifax but struggle to find a job, so I got the idea of setting up a company. These considerations subsequently contributed to the company's visions: HeyCareer provides career counseling services which develops and delivers better recruitment solution for businesses and helps international graduates who wish to gain work experience and settle down in Halifax. Through this Guidance, HeyCareer wanted to thank the governments and school departments for their support, as well as to thank employers for their trust. Furthermore, HeyCareer wanted to show their confidence of helping international students and expected to hold more activities in July. This is a free event, open to students and the public.
